In a conversation with an attorney, Pam Ely, coined the phrase, "The Lawyer Test." She states, "It was an important statement of my predicament and, if he had no objections, maybe I would have a good settlement."

THE LAWYER TEST:

"I need a lawyer like you would need a good surgeon for heart surgery, or I could suffer an Acute Myocardial Infraction. Could this be about my survival and, not your friendship with the other attorney, or milking me for more money?"
