The Safe Child Custody Fund is a state and local political action committee in Pennsylvania. The Group (SCCF) is not a 527 organization. As one of the largest states in the U.S., Pennsylvania has great prominence in local and national elections. Pennsylvania is governed under the constitution adopted in 1873 and amended extensively since then. The governor serves a four-year term and may be reelected for one additional term. A Democrat, Ed Rendell, was elected to the office in 2002 and again in 2006. In 2010, a Republican, Tom Corbett, was elected to the office as the 46th governor. The state legislature, called, the general assembly, consists of a senate of 50 members and a house of representatives of 203 members. Pennsylvania sends 2 senators and 21 representatives to the U.S. Congress and has 23 electoral votes.
